I am, however, quite cross with Maccon for that bit at the very ending of the novel, but I understand his reasoning. I can't wait to see what's going to happen in the next novel, of course.<br />I was delighted some of Lord Akeldama too, Ivy was as entertaining as ever, and Madame Lefoux was a fun addition to the mix. All of Gail Carriger's characters are fun, interesting and posses a great sense of humor, but they also have a fabulous quality: diversity. I love the sense of diversity about the whole thing, in fact. <br />Favorite Character: Alexia Very Happy<br /><b>Plot</b>: There's a lot of mystery in the story, the whole humanization affliction and the chase to find out what's going on with that. I loved the story, it was fine paced, eventful, fun and intriguing. The romance angle I'd say was less played upon in this novel, though there were romantic elements involved.<br /><b>Writing</b>: Third person narrative, mostly from Alexia's POV. Gail Carriger's writing style is gorgeous, very English sounding, filled with humor and utterly enchanting. I love it to bits Very Happy <br /><b>Curb Appeal</b>: Fab cover, fab blurb, fab author - instant buy material, if you ask me.<br /><br />All in all, this was a great read and I'm looking forward to reading the next novel in the series. If you're into steampunk, I think this is a definite must read.<br /><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-FIpXdGxBVhU/UTDFE4qjlhI/AAAAAAAADnI/gcMo4NrxCe4/s1600/post-sections-bomy.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-FIpXdGxBVhU/UTDFE4qjlhI/AAAAAAAADnI/gcMo4NrxCe4/s1600/post-sections-bomy.png" width="300" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-FGZbm1-jhqI/T5_l8kvVudI/AAAAAAAAA5I/F2rDoJ56pRA/s1600/get-it-from.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-FGZbm1-jhqI/T5_l8kvVudI/AAAAAAAAA5I/F2rDoJ56pRA/s1600/get-it-from.png" /></a><br /><a href="http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/0316074144/ref=as_li_tf_tl?ie=UTF8&camp=1789&creative=9325&creativeASIN=0316074144&linkCode=as2&tag=butterfometer-20">Amazon</a><img src="http://ir-na.amazon-adsystem.com/e/ir?t=butterfometer-20&l=as2&o=1&a=0316074144" width="1" height="1" border="0" alt="" style="border:none !important; margin:0px !important;" /> | <a href="http://click.linksynergy.com/link?id=fAS4GlYABmM&offerid=239662.9780316074148&type=2&murl=http%3A%2F%2Fsearch.barnesandnoble.com%2FChangeless%2FGail-Carriger%2Fe%2F9780316074148">Barnes&amp;Noble</a><IMG border=0 width=1 height=1 src="http://ad.linksynergy.com/fs-bin/show?id=fAS4GlYABmM&bids=239662.9780316074148&type=2&subid=0" > | <a href="http://www.bookdepository.com/Changeless-Gail-Carriger/9780316074148/?a_aid=butterflyometerbooks">Book Depository</a> </div><br /><div style="clear: both;"></div><br> 2013 2013 2013 <br><div class="separator" style="clear: both; float:left;"><a href="http://d.gr-assets.com/books/1355868662l/7977160.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://d.gr-assets.com/books/1355868662l/7977160.jpg" width="250" /></a></div><br /><blockquote><h4><a href="http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/7977160-changeless" target="_blank">Changeless (Parasol Protectorate #2)</a></h4><br /><li><b>By</b> Gail Carriger</li><br /><li><b>Editions</b>: audiobook, ebook, hardcover, paperback</li><br /><li><b>Published:</b> April 1st 2010 by Orbit</li><br /><li><b>Genre</b>: Adult Steampunk / Paranormal / Romance</li><br /><li><b>Source</b>: own copy</li><br /><p>Alexia Tarabotti, the Lady Woolsey, awakens in the wee hours of the mid-afternoon to find her husband, who should be decently asleep like any normal werewolf, yelling at the top of his lungs.
